I typically recommend booking your branding session 2 to 3 weeks in advance. This gives us enough time for thorough planning and collaboration before the shoot.
Can we use more than one location during the session?
Yes, using more than one location is a great way to create a broader library of images. Different settings give you more variety for social media, marketing, and refreshing your website so you have plenty of content to work with.
How many photos will I receive from my branding session?
The number of finished images depends on the creative vision and scope of your session. In general, you can expect a minimum of 15 to 20 finished images per hour of shooting, and I typically deliver more than the minimum.
Where can we photograph for the branding shoot?
The location of your branding session is chosen to support the creative vision we develop together. We can shoot in a studio, at your office, at a rented location, or outdoors depending on the story and look we want to create.
How soon will I receive my finished photos?
My typical turnaround time is two weeks after your branding session. I often have the finished gallery ready sooner than that.
What should I bring to my branding session?
What you bring depends on the creative vision we create together for your shoot. This will often include 2 to 3 outfits, props related to your work, and anything else that helps show what you do and how you do it. Think computer, industry-related documents, props or tools you use in your job daily, branded stationary are just a few things I like to suggest you bring.
What’s the difference between a branding session and a professional headshot?
A professional headshot is great for introducing yourself, while a branding session gives people a broader look at you and your business. Branding photos can show who you are, what you do, how you work, and the type of clients you serve.
What if I’m uncomfortable or awkward in front of the camera?
Feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera is completely natural, and I’ll help you relax and enjoy the process. I like to think of our session as a conversation where I just happen to have a camera with me. You’ll be guided throughout the shoot so you never have to wonder what to do.
