Creating an Elevated Personal Brand for a Boise Wealth Manager
August 18, 2026
A professional branding session combining polished studio portraits with relaxed downtown Boise lifestyle imagery for Trek Line Wealth.

When Aaron Flores was preparing to rebrand his wealth management business, Trek Line Wealth, he needed photography that reflected where his brand was headed.
Aaron already had outdoor headshots that connected well with his personality and his love for what Idaho has to offer. But for this next chapter of his business, he also needed something different: clean, elevated branding photography that would speak to the high-earning clients he serves while still feeling like him.
That balance became the focus of our Boise branding photography session.
Creating an Elevated Look Without Losing Personality

Aaron is a wealth manager here in the Treasure Valley and the founder of Trek Line Wealth. His business is built around providing personal financial guidance and helping his clients manage their wealth.
Because Aaron himself is such an important part of the brand, we didn’t want to create a gallery that felt overly corporate or disconnected from who he actually is.
We needed polish and professionalism, but we also needed personality.
I worked closely with Aaron before the session to coordinate his wardrobe. We chose more elevated clothing that reflected the professional side of being a wealth manager, along with more casual options that better represented how he might normally show up when meeting with clients.
The goal wasn’t to make Aaron look like someone else. It was to photograph the different sides of his professional brand in a way that felt cohesive. That’s also why branding photography is different from simply updating your headshot.
Clean Branding Photography at Boise Urban Studio
For the first part of the session, we photographed at Boise Urban Studio.
The studio gave us the clean white background and great lighting we needed to create the more polished side of Aaron’s new brand. We worked through several wardrobe changes so he would have variety to use throughout his new website and other marketing.
A white studio environment can look simple, but that simplicity was intentional. With fewer distractions in the background, the focus stays on Aaron and gives the images a clean, professional feel that works especially well for a service-based business.
But creating professional branding photos doesn’t mean the experience itself needs to feel stiff.
Aaron is a big music fan and loves discovering new artists, so I brought along my portable speaker and handed him control of the music. Bad Bunny and other contemporary artists became part of the soundtrack for the session.
It’s a small detail, but these are the kinds of things I enjoy learning about the people I photograph.
Aaron is a down-to-earth person who happens to love helping people manage their wealth. Before managing his client’s wealth, his background included managing nonprofits. Outside of his work, he loves music as well as the wide-open spaces, caring for his horses on his property, and outdoor opportunities we have here in Idaho.
Those details matter when the business you’re photographing is built so closely around the person behind it.
Bringing a Lifestyle Element Into Downtown Boise
For the second part of the branding session, we moved into downtown Boise near Cherie Buckner-Webb Park.
This portion of the shoot leaned more toward lifestyle photography. We wanted to maintain the elevated look we established in the studio while creating images that felt more casual and relaxed.
One of the buildings in the area gave us a great reflection that we incorporated into Aaron’s lifestyle photographs. Using the environment this way gave us another visual option while keeping the focus on creating images that fit the overall direction of his brand.
Combining the two locations also gave Aaron more variety.
The clean white studio photographs can communicate a polished, professional presence, while the downtown images show a more casual side of the person his clients will actually get to know and work with.
For a personal brand, I think both sides are important.
Branding Photos Designed for More Than a Headshot

Aaron’s new photographs were created specifically to support the Trek Line Wealth rebrand. He’ll be able to use the images throughout his website and marketing, as well as on business cards and in his email presence.
That’s one of the reasons I approach branding photography differently from simply creating a new professional headshot.
When someone is investing in a new website or elevating their business, they need more than one good photograph of themselves. They need a collection of images that can work together across the different places potential clients encounter their brand.
Wardrobe, location, backgrounds, and the overall feel of the photographs all become part of that process.
For Aaron, that meant creating an image library that could communicate professionalism without losing the approachable personality behind Trek Line Wealth.
Boise Branding Photography for Professionals and Entrepreneurs
One of my favorite parts of this session was getting to see more of who Aaron is outside of his role as a wealth manager.
That is also something I want to bring into the branding photography I create for other professionals, entrepreneurs, and personal brands.

An elevated brand doesn’t have to mean creating a version of yourself that feels overly polished or artificial. The goal is to understand how you want potential clients to see your business and then intentionally create photographs that communicate that while still looking and feeling like you.
If you’re a professional, entrepreneur, or personal brand in Boise or the Treasure Valley and your current photography no longer reflects the level of your business, I’d love to help you create something more intentional.
